International Review of Human Rights.

How you applied:
I got to know about the call for Editors from Lawctopus itself.
You can easily apply for the position by writing a mail to the concerned Journal whenever they call for the second set of applications.
The application procedure was fairly easy and interesting. We had to give our CVs and a short write-up as to why we were interested in the position.
This would also include our past experience in the same kind of work, if any. It takes approximately a month to announce the results and allot the posts as per requirements.
First day formalities, first impression, main tasks:
I started my virtual internship at IRHRL this year as the Editor for the fourth issue of the Editorial Board where the work assigned to us varies from writing a 300-500 words post to keep the blog updated to checking the posts and articles being so published. This years issue basically rotates around the topic of Refugee Crisis.
The internship lasts for a year and even though it doesn’t pay any stipend there are other very interesting perks. The editors can write as per their convenience on the topics which are generally in debate or being discussed at present.
The blog makes you comfortable with expressing your ideas and opinion about what is happening in the world and how it is affecting everyone experiencing it, even if remotely.
The good part of the internship is that you can work from home as per your convenience and get your thoughts and ideas published and learn correction of the posts.
It is an excellent platform for students who are looking for an exposure in the field of writing and editing posts. We are a group of editiors who work together and give our advice the Managing editor who would then accommodate the changes accordingly.
The Managing Editor, Mr. Aditya Shukla is extremely supportive and constantly guiding the editors and seeking their advice on all the posts being out up on the blog.
Stipend (if any):
The post is unpaid however, the kind of exposure it provides you with is unbeatable. There is a platform ready to have you edit their posts and write your own.
